Refund policy

At Halden we want you to love your lighting. If something isn't right, here's how returns and refunds work.

30-Day Returns
You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. To be eligible, items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in their original packaging.

How to Start a Return
Email support@halden.store with your order number and the reason for return. We'll reply within 24 hours with return instructions and the return address. Please don't send items back before contacting us.

Return Shipping Costs
If the item is faulty, damaged, or we sent the wrong product, we cover return shipping and send a replacement or full refund. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Damaged or Defective Items
Inspect your order on arrival. If an item arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days with a photo and your order number and we'll arrange a free replacement or full refund.

12-Month Warranty
All Halden lighting is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects and electrical faults under normal use. If a product develops a fault within this period, email support@halden.store with your order number and a photo or short video, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect voltage, unauthorised repair, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of approval. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Cancellations
Need to cancel or change an order? Contact us within 12 hours of ordering and we'll do our best to amend it before it ships.

Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any guarantees or rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer protection laws of your country.

SHIPPING POLICY

Thanks for shopping with Halden. Here's everything you need to know about how and when your order arrives.

Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order ships.

Delivery Times
Estimated delivery is 7–15 business days after dispatch, depending on your location. Delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak periods or due to customs processing.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination, so you'll always see the exact amount before you pay.

Where We Ship
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

Voltage & Plug Compatibility (Please Read)
Some of our lamps are mains-powered. The plug type and voltage for each product are listed on its product page. Please confirm the item is compatible with your country's outlets and voltage before ordering — using an incompatible voltage can damage the product and is not covered by warranty. Where a choice of plug is offered, select the option for your region. USB-powered and rechargeable lamps work worldwide with any standard USB power source.

Battery-Powered Items
Cordless and rechargeable lamps contain built-in lithium batteries and are shipped in accordance with carrier safety regulations. This may occasionally add minor handling time.

Tracking
A tracking number is emailed to you once your order is dispatched. Please allow 1–3 days for tracking to update after you receive it.

Customs & Duties
International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes set by your local authority. These are the customer's responsibility and are not included in our prices.

Delays
If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated window, email support@halden.store with your order number and we'll track it down for you.
